Class Schedule: Wednesdays 10:30am-12:30pm June1st Wheel throwing- wedging-centering clay on the wheel June 8th Trimming - Wheel Throwing - Wedging June 15th 1 Wheel Throwing-Attaching Handles-carving patterns into our pieces June 22nd Preparing bisque fired pieces for glazing-understanding glaze recipes This course is perfect for those wanting to learn the wonderful art of making pottery on the potters wheel. The course runs for 4 weeks with a weekly 2 hour session where you will learn the following skills. Wedging clay & recycling clay The art of wheel throwing + trimming Making and adding handles to mugs & or vases-carving patterns into our pieces Basics of glazing, understanding glaze recipes, glazing your work Basic kiln use Having a whole bunch of fun learning! This is a great way to learn and also get to know other like minded pottery enthusiasts. After the 4 week course an opportunity to continue creating and learning at my studio will be an option. Session times for this class will be held 10:30am-12:30pm every Tuesday. Please note once a booking has been made, I do not offer refunds on this course (unless of course it doesn't go ahead) Happy to offer a credit voucher should something happen along the way and you are unable to continue attending.
Sorry no refunds on workshops are available, should you need to reschedule your booking 48 hours notice is required. Please note I am able to keep your finished work for up to 8 weeks after the collection announcement has been made, after that period uncollected work is donated and repurposed.
