Class Schedule: Fridays 10:30am-12:30pm May 20th Wheel throwing- wedging-centering clay on the wheel May 27h Trimming - Wheel Throwing - Wedging June 3rd Wheel Throwing-Attaching Handles-carving patterns into our pieces June 10th Preparing bisque fired pieces for glazing-understanding glaze recipes This course is perfect for those wanting to learn the wonderful art of making pottery on the potters wheel. The course runs for 4 weeks with a weekly 2 hour session where you will learn the following skills. Wedging clay & recycling clay The art of wheel throwing + trimming Making and adding handles to mugs & or vases-carving patterns into our pieces Basics of glazing, understanding glaze recipes, glazing your work Basic kiln use Having a whole bunch of fun learning! This is a great way to learn and also get to know other like minded pottery enthusiasts. After the 4 week course an opportunity to continue creating and learning at my studio will be an option. Session times for this class will be held 10:30am-12:30pm every Fridays.
Sorry no refunds on workshops are available, should you need to reschedule your booking 48 hours notice is required. Please note I am able to keep your finished work for up to 8 weeks after the collection announcement has been made, after that period uncollected work is donated and repurposed.
