Pottery on the Potters Wheel

Service Description

Looking for something creative, something to bring excitement and joy? well look no further! throwing pottery on the potters wheel is all of the above, its messy its fun its addictive. Some say it's HARD. Yes it can seem hard at first, like driving a manual car for the first time! if you let go, have fun you will find it will all fall into place ( lots of guidance given along the way) . We will go over the simple methods used to create pottery on the potters wheel. YES I said simple :) they are simple you just practise practise practise them. You will learn to centre your clay, create shapes for making cups, vases, bowls etc. You will learn to trim your pots, attach handles, even glaze your pots! My clay studio is located on my 15 acre farm in the stunning Upper Duroby which is located 10 minutes from Husk Distillery (Tumbulgum). A super relaxing laid back location perfect for slowing down and enjoying the moment. I look forward to claying with you. All clay, glaze and firing of your pottery is included.
